Food fest showcases hotel chain’s culinary prowess

Hotel operator AccorHotel is holding a Food and Wine Festival in Singapore from November 4-12

Dubbed as a city where food is a national obsession, the festival is delivering exciting culinary creations, masterclasses and delicious drinks that highlight the diverse flavours found in Singapore.

“We are thrilled to announce our very first AccorHotels Singapore Food & Wine Festival, which is showcasing the diversity of our bars and restaurants, the amazing talent of our staff and the multi-ethnic influences of this beautiful city,” said Michael Issenberg, chairman and COO of AccorHotels, Asia Pacific. “We have never before hosted a festival on this grand scale and it speaks to the passion Singaporeans have for food and the pride we have in the fabulous restaurants and bars that we manage across the city.”

The festival is featuring some of the group’s leading culinary talent including Michelin-star chef Kirk Westaway of Jaan restaurant, Raffles Hotel’s legend, Amos Ting, and chef Louis Tay of Swissôtel Merchant Court, who beat 29 other countries to take Singapore to gold in the Culinary Olympics 2016, plus a host of rising stars from across the network.

AccorHotels’ network includes some of Singapore’s most esteemed hotel dining rooms including those in Raffles, Fairmont Singapore, SO Sofitel Singapore, Sofitel Singapore City Centre, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, Swissôtel Stamford Singapore, Swissôtel Merchant Court, Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy, Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay, Novotel & Mercure Stevens Road, Mercure Singapore Bugis, ibis Styles Macpherson, ibis on Bencoolen and ibis Novena.
