The two other finalists were Irwin Tan from RVLT Wine Bar and Daisuke Shibuya from SUN with MOON Japanese Dining & Café Singapore.

Yeo and Lei will both represent Singapore during the Asia Final of the Best Sommelier in French Wines Competition that will take place from December 10 -12 this year in Seoul, South Korea. They will compete against the various winners of Best Sommelier Competitions in French Wines across Asia for the coveted title of Asia Best Sommelier in French Wines 2018.

The Asia Best Sommelier Competition was created in 1986 with the purpose of cultivating a new generation of sommeliers with an expertise and knowledge in niche area of French wines. Sopexa and the French Ministry of Agriculture were among the first to organise such a competition back in the 1980s.
